In 2022, we changed our youth basketball league from a 5v5
basketball league to a 3v3 league to offer MORE playing time,
MORE touches, MORE shots, MORE space to create, and MORE
fun! THIS year, we are tweaking the program just a little MORE!
We’ve ADDED Kindergarten to our basketball program, and we
have NEW age groups!
Grades K-5 will play 3v3 basketball in the same format we played in
2022-2023, with a 1-hour practice during the week and two half-
court (20 minute) games on Saturdays at Willowbrook High School.
We are splitting up the boys’ and girls’ leagues at the 4-8 grade
levels. Grades 6-8 will have the opportunity to play in a NEW
Intervillage 5v5 League with York Center, Lombard and Addison
Park Districts for the second part of the season that starts in January
2024. Sign up now, invite your friends and prepare to Conquer the
Court!
OPEN HOUSE will be held on Saturday, November 4 at
Willowbrook High School. You will receive an email before Nov. 4
with your scheduled time to meet your teammates and coach(es).
Grades K-3 players will be assigned practice at either the Iowa
Community Center or York Center Park District.
Grades 4-8 players will be assigned practice at either Jackson or
Jefferson Middle School.
Players must purchase a reversible jersey for $19 (or use one
from previous winter seasons).
No practice or games Nov. 20-25, and Dec. 18, - Jan. 6.
REGISTRATION:
ONE registration = Two parts:
Part 1: November 4 - December 16
Grades K-8: One, 1-hour practice is held during the week and a
1-hour Skills-Camp led by Coaches on Saturdays Nov. 4, 18, Dec. 2,
9, 16 at Willowbrook High School and will focus on Skills, Drills &
Scrimmages.
Part 2: January 13 - March 2
Grades K-5: 3v3 practices will continue on the same days, and
3v3 Season games after Winter break will be held on Saturdays at
Willowbrook High School.
Grades 6 and 7&8: 5v5 Basketball practices will continue on the same
days, and these grade levels will play in the 5v5 Inter-village Basketball
League with Lombard, Addison and York Center Park Districts.
