So you think you can fish? Then this event is for you! All participants will have 90 minutes to catch as many fish as they can. Prizes are then awarded in a variety of categories.

Registration in advance is preferred. This event is held whether rain or shine, but if weather is severe call (630) 629-0886 for more information.

Time:
Check-In Begins at 6:00pm
Fishing Begins at 6:15pm

Fees:
$11/Resident; $13/Non-resident - 16 years & up
$7/Resident; $9/Non-resident- 7-15 years
$5/Resident; $7/Non-resident - 6 years & under

Derby Rules:
- Only one pole per person in the water at a time.
- No fishing until the horn signals the start and any fish caught prior to that will be ineligible. Also, any fish caught after the end horn signals will be ineligible.
- Only bank fishing is allowed. No wading or fly fishing allowed.
- One stringer per person.
- No arguing with the judges or swearing, this will lead to automatic disqualification.
- The fishing will stop at 7:45pm to total scores.
- Participants must be present to win prizes.
*We greatly appreciate those fishermen that practice catch and release.

Join us at Lake Yelenich Park for our Fall Fishing Derby! Participants will have to catch as many fish as they can within 90 minutes. Prizes will be awarded in categories first fish caught, most fish caught by a child, and most fish caught by an adult.
